lunch with mommies
Before I go further, TQ Jols for the lovely lunch. And it was nice meeting up those mommies, Llah, Nong,
MummyC, Lara and yes Jols herself at KLCC. Should do this more often kot!
I am so into books again now. With no more assignments, classes, pregnancies stuffy juicy hard pain
staking moments, I guess I can start cocentrating into books seriously again. Thus, I hope the Book Club
will kick off soon. But hey mommies, no comment/email or anything yet on that. I have only 1 suggestion
to date from MummyC on the preferences. How about others?
Ever since I started blogging, my source of book recommendation expanding rapidly. OK, you might know by
now, how my obsession on this chic lit book. Yes, I did buy and read a lot of this chic lit type books,
yet, I do not directly abundant non-chic-lit book. But, I confess that for the pass 6 months, I only
managed to catch up on chic lit coz its quite a light reading and easier to digest kot. But amongst
other, I managed to slip Paulo Coelho's Eleven Minutes in one of the books I read. Frankly speaking, I
kind of like this book. And just now, upon blog hopping, I found across such an interesting review at href=http://pickyin.blogspot.com>picky yin
actually read this book. I am expecting more books to come this weekend.
Well, for my next salary I am still undecided on what book to buy. I already have 3 at the moment to
consider, yet still checking out which one is the best to invest in. Might ask my sources either I
can get discount or not for these books. If I can, can buy more books ah later.
OH, enuff on that. It’s almost 5 already. My mind already somewhere else and could not seems to take off
the view of the stripe romper suits at Poney. Isyhh, I wish there is a bigger size for that. Hah, gatal
sungguh gi masuk kedai Poney tuh. Tomorrow must drag hubby and see what his say on that and might just
settle for other stuff kot.
Ok dokie then, I guess my second update of the day is good enuff already. I’m running out of ideas and
actually the mood is not there any longer. My mind was lingering somewhere else already and the urgency
to go back is stronger than anything else. Terrible.
So, have a good weekend ahead people. Toodle
for those whom might be looking for other books to read.
11 minutes is indeed a good book cause it's different from what Coelho always wrote about, if you're a regular reader of Coelho, you will know what am talking about.
For the ones looking for some light reading and comparing it with your babies, try Autobiography of a one year old baby by Rohan Cappa.I assure you, things will never be the same again between you and your baby as you figure out their minds and the one in the book and figuring out whether you are Hairy or Smooth.
Lastly, Time Traveller's Wife are one of the recent books I read by Audrey Niffenegger, if you like Lovely Bones, you will like this too, needs lots of focus to read it, not quite a light reading. - bookaholix
